Tennessee Diploma Project

Students entering the 9th grade (Class of 2013)during the 2009-10 school year will follow new graduation requirements as approved by the Tennessee State Board of Education. These graduation requirements follow the program outlined in the Tennessee Diploma Project.

In addition to better aligning our academic standards with national standards, Tennessee is also implementing more rigorous graduation requirements. These changes will challenge our students and better prepare them for college and the workforce.
