Head Coach: Ali Arman

Coach Arman began his high school coaching career in the spring of 1998 when he took over as the girls soccer coach here at Riverdale High School. After 2 years coaching only the girls he was given the reins of the boys team also. In his first year as coach of the boys he took them to the district championship game against Warren County in which they lost 4-3 in injury time. Since that first season in 2001 to the 2004 season the boys teams have either finshed as the district regular season runner-up or the district tournament runner-up with a sub state appearance in 2003. In 2005 however the boys team finshed the regular season with an 11-2 record and regular season District 7-AAA champions. In 2006 the boys soccer team had their best season ever finishing 19-3 and were District 7-AAA Regular Season Champions, won the District 7-AAA Tournament with a 7-1 win over Cookeville, won the Region 4-AAA Tournament with a 2-0 win over Cookeville, won the Sub State game against McMinn Co. 3-1, and finished their season with a 2-0 loss at the hands of Farragut in the State Quarterfinals. Coach Arman was named District 7-AAA Coach of the Year for 2005 and also in 2006. In six years at Riverdale Coach Arman's overall record is 73-31-12.
Coach Arman graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from MTSU in 1997 and he received his Master's degree in Mathematics in 2001. In the summer of 2002 Coach Arman received the USSF "D" License and the summer of 2006 received the NSCAA National Diploma with a distinguished pass. He is married to wife Jill and they have two boys, 13 year old son Josh who plays for the Murfreesboro Strikers and new born Khalil Adam.
