Tomahawk Stadium History

After 27 years without a stadium, the Rutherford County School Board granted the funds to build Tomahawk Stadium - Warrior Field in 1999. Construction was completed in October 2000 and the first game was played on October 20th.  The Warriors finally had a place to call home. Prior to the building of Tomahawk Stadium the Warriors played all their home games at Middle Tennessee State's Horace Jones Field. Below is information about Tomahawk Stadium and a list of firsts that took place in the months following it's opening.

Press Box 5 rooms sectioned off with a 3 seat  home coaches box, 3 seat visitor coaches box, 3 seat home radio box, 3 seat visitor radio box, and a 5 seat scorers box.
Video An open air video platform is located on the roof of the press box.  Electrical outlets are available.
