Gaston
Miller - Vanderbilt University
- Gaston is probably the most decorated player to ever come through.
Miller rushed for 5,340 yards and 83 touchdowns while at Riverdale. He was
selected to the All County Team and All Region Team as a sophomore, junior
and senior and was named Region MVP his senior year. Miller was an All
Mid-State and All State selection his junior and senior years and was
named All Mid-State MVP his senior year. Gaston
was named Prep Nation Player of the Year for the State of Tennessee, Lawrenceburg
Quarterback Club Player of the Year, Gatorade Player of the Year for
Tennessee, received the Admiral Lawrence Scholar Athlete and American
Generals Mr. Football 5A Back this past season. Miller will attend
Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Tamar
Butler - Murray State University
- Tamar is a three year
starter for Riverdale. He was named to the All Region All Mid-State and
All State his junior and senior seasons. Butler accumulated 261tackles at
the outside linebacker position for the Warriors. He rushed for 1132 yards
and 15 touchdowns in his career. Tamar was a 2005 American General Mr.
Football 5A Lineman Finalist. Butler will further his education at Murray
State University in Murray, Kentucky.

Kit
Hartsfield - Austin Peay State University
- Kit transferred to Riverdale before his junior season and has been a force
for the Warriors since he stepped on campus. Hartsfield was named to the
All County Team his junior and senior seasons and to the All Region and
All Mid-State Teams his senior year. Kit completed his career at Riverdale
with 519 yards rushing, 2 touchdowns, and 189 tackles. Hartsfield will
become a Governor with Austin Peay State University next year.

Antwuan
Smith - Georgia Military College
- Antwaun was named to
the 2005 All Region team and the All County Team his junior and senior
year. Smith caught 38 passes for 919 yards and 5 touchdowns on offense for
the Warriors and returned 4 punts for touchdowns. Antwuan had 79 tackles
and 4 interceptions on defense. Antwuan will be heading south to continue
his education at Georgia Military College in Milledgeville,
Georgia.
