Lebron Ferguson takes over for Marty
Euverard, who left for Jefferson County. Oakland’s numbers are up
from 30 to 48, requiring fewer players to start both ways. Seniors
TE/LB Stephen Luter, FB/NG Kentrell Roper and OL Adam Peay provide
the muscle. Juniors QB Daryl Smith and TB Cord Cowan show the speed |

Outlook:
The Warriors enter this season as heavy favorites to win a
fourth state title. Anything less would be disappointing to a
senior-laden squad that came within a field goal Germantown in
last year’s 5A final. The offense is loaded, and this defense
could be one of the best in the nation.
