Record: Riverdale - 171-24

             Overall -  229-55

School Playoff Record: 3-2 School Playoff Record: 44-15
Best Year: 2002, Lost in Quarterfinals to Riverdale 17-13 Best Year: 1994, 1997, 2001 Class 5A State Champions
Cornerstones: FB/LB Kenny Meredith (5-11, 200, Sr.); QB Marques Locke (5-8, 175, So.); LB Greg Miles (5-11, 185, Sr.); FS J.D. Alsup (6-1, 170, Sr.). TB/DB Jeremy Mimms (6-2, 175, Sr.), G/DE Dusty Gray (5-11, 220, Sr.)

Building Blocks: OT Ryan Knox (5-11, 230, Jr.); TE/DE Jeff Templeton (6-3, 180, So.); TE/DE Jeremy Ray (6-2, 175, So.); WR/LB Shane Adams (6-2, 185, Jr.).

Outlook: Alsup calls his backfield of Locke, Mimms and Meredith a “three-headed monster.” Locke, younger brother of Riverdale’s former Mr. Football Eric Locke, plays well beyond his sophomore status. Team chemistry is good, but Blackman lacks depth.
Cornerstones: QB/DB Dave Thomas (5-11, 180, Sr.); TE/DE Chris Perkins (6-4, 246, Sr.); WR/LB Rahmel Oliver (6-3, 194, Sr.); TB/DB Gaston Miller (5-7, 154, Sr.); OT Phillip Thomas (6-0, 320, Sr.); RB/LB Derente Frazier (5-8, 160, Sr.); DT Sean Kimbrough (6-0, 202, Sr.); DT Jermaine Alsup (5-11, 227, Sr.).
Building Blocks: TE/DE Chris Keil (6-2, 208, Sr.); WR/DB Keaton Anderson (5-7, 146, Sr.); FB/LB Tamar Butler (6-0, 185, Jr.); DB Terrence Savannah (6-0, 163, Sr.).
Outlook: The Warriors enter this season as heavy favorites to win a fourth state title. Anything less would be disappointing to a senior-laden squad that came within a field goal Germantown in last year’s 5A final. The offense is loaded, and this defense could be one of the best in the nation.
