     The National Prep Football Poll is compiled by high school sports experts Jamie DeMoney and Jeremy Plowman and a panel of sportswriters. The national Top 25 and regional Top 10's follow with 2003 won-loss-tie records:

 

1. Concord, Calif., De La Salle (13-0-0), four-time defending Prep Poll champion

2. Charlotte, N.C., Independence (16-0-0), four straight state titles and 62 straight wins

3. Jenks, Okla. (12-2-0), seven 6A state titles in last eight years
