1994 Riverdale Warriors

TSSAA 5-A State Champions

 

The 1994 Riverdale Warriors were in a class by themselves. They had it all; speed, strength, a quick scoring offense and a dominate defense. The '94 Warriors recorded the first undefeated season in school history and was the first to win 15 games in the newly formed 5A classification. They finished the season ranked 9th in the nation by USA Today. The team scored a school high 620 points. The offense scored a school record 560 points in 15 games, 41 points per game. The defense gave up only 58 points in 15 games, 3 points per game, and had 7 shout outs. They also scored 60 points off of turnovers, that's 2 more points than they gave up.
